POSTCARD CHARADE

Location:  INDOOR
Minutes:  5-15
Formation  NONE
Activity Level LOW-MEDIUM
Age levels ANY
People 6-35
Supplies POSTCARDS WITH PICTURES, AND A VARIETY OF PROPS THAT FIT THE CARDS

Instructions: Divide the players in to small groups of 3-6 people.  Give each group a postcard and tell them that they must recreate the postcard scene so that the rest of the groups will be able to guess where their vacation spot is beach scene - someone might be the sun, others might lie out on the beach, play volleyball, etc..  Give the groups about 5 minutes to create these scenes and then have everyone freeze frame themselves.  Now groups can take turns guessing where the other group's vacation spot might be.

Leader's Hints:  The postcards need not have people in them, but encourage the groups to think about what people might be doing if there were people in the photographs.  The postcards can be fairly generic - you are not trying for groups to guess the city and state or country!  Go for themes like skiing in the mountains, vacation at the beach, or panning for gold out West.
